Tightening iGaming regulation in the United Kingdom

In addition to new reporting requirements, the UKGC and the Betting and Gaming Council (BGC) are introducing measures to enhance the financial safety of players:

• Financial vulnerability checks to identify clients at risk of financial loss.
• Enhanced age verification procedures to prevent underage participation.
• A voluntary BGC code aimed at proactive measures against excessive betting.
